Let's talk
A branded break zone built for one of the largest esports events in the world — designed for a venue where tens of thousands of people move through in a single evening.
The Esports World Cup draws an audience that is notoriously hard to interrupt. Players and spectators are locked into screens, and anything that reads as an advertisement gets ignored. KitKat needed a presence that fitted the idea of a break without pulling anyone away from the thing they came for.
We built a physical break zone rather than a booth. The structure was designed to be read instantly from across a dark, heavily lit venue, with seating that let people stop for a few minutes between matches. Interactive gaming stations sat inside the stand so the brand moment happened during a break, not instead of one.
Our production team fabricated and installed the structure, and our own staff ran the zone across the full event schedule — briefing, shift coverage, product handling and breakdown. The same people who designed the layout were on site running it.
